Does Amazon Send Out Review Requests?
When i initiate a review request for my shipped orders a message pops up that says "are you sure you want to request a review, amazon does this for you."
It seems odd Amazon would even ask & i noticed when i wait to the end of the request window (30 days) i still see that message which tells me amazon did not send a review request to my customer yet.
not sure if they actually do but if they do then when do they?

The best way to request review is to use the link supplied on the order detail page.
This requests both product review and seller feedback.
Amazon declares that they send out requests, but mostly I believe this does not happen.

I just wanted to add on to @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl's comment and provide this help page on requesting a review from a customer. For most orders, a review is requested, but bookwormapril is correct that you should go through the order details page to request on your own.
