New payments policy: transferwise is being banned, anyone have EUR recommendations?
I’ve been happily using transferwise for years as they’ve always had amazing forex rates, but amazon is banning them on 31 May in favor of a list of Chinese providers. I am not comfortable with using any of the Chinese fintech on offer (for obvious reasons).
I currently use Lloyds for my main account, but they only offer EUR accounts for companies with £3 million+ turnover.
Can anyone recommend a local UK bank who offers a reasonably priced euro account for small business?

Just goes to show where Amazon’s loyalty lies.

I am using currencies direct to receive money from the EU.
Are you saying I can no longer use them?

Solved this problem years ago open a EUR account in Ireland might be difficult now because of brexit, it did take a month or 2 but it’s well worth it

they are also good for paying other country VAT from your balance for no fee.

Does anyone know how to set the Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers? I tried to follow the steps, but they are not working and the seller support was just… not working as well.

I am bringing good news(at least for people using Revolut). Today we received this:
Dear VBandSports:
Thank you for updating your Deposit Method Bank account to a participating PSP or a bank account directly issued to you by a deposit-taking bank.
Amazon Services Europe
I don’t know what Revolut/Amazon did but we haven’t change anything. I see that they are still not on the accepted list but there are no more “Action required” in our seller central. To be sure I also spoke with the seller central agent and she confirmed that our deposit method is ok and we are good.
