Linking ebook to paperback
I need to link a paperback book with it’s kindle ebook version,
so they appear together as the same listing and can share reviews.
If I try to merge, a message comes up to say ‘These ASINs are not the same product and cannot be merged. We were unable to merge these two ASINs because one or more attributes were not the same. According to our policy, all attributes for the products must match. Please make sure you entered the correct ASINs.’
They have different ASIN’s because one is an ebook and one is a paperback.
Do I need to change one of the ASIN’s so that they are the same?

You cannot change an ASIN as is Amazon generated - ASIN is Amazon Standard Identification Number.

Thanks both. The OP of the thread identified seems as frustrated as I am. Honestly I have tried very hard for many weeks to set this up and find the help centre extremely unhelpful! The whole system is extremely user unfriendly!
