Good Evening All,
A customer of our has sent some returned trainers back to Amazon instead of to us and these are now lost as Amazon won't forward back to us.
How would you recommend dealing with that?
Close return as not received?
Refund and then Safe T?
The Amazon chat has not being overly helpful.
Can you file a Safe T before refunding?
Thanks for your help guys
I would advise the customer that you have not received the return as it has been sent to Amazon, not yourselves.
It would be on the customer to get the item back, not you.
If you were to refund you would not be able to open a safe t claim.
If they opened a return and got a label off you, how did the items end up with Amazon?
You CANNOT do a Safe-T Claim if you refund. You refund then your loss!
Tell the Buyer not received, and they need to resolve, but, once received back, then you will refund as long as new.
They may raise A-Z Claim, you will need to Appeal etc as others have said.

If SFP, then no A-Z Claim, still Buyer to contact Amazon to resolve, and then you raise a Safe-T Claim.

I'm surprised Sellers do not know all this by now.
We had this issue a few years ago a customer purchased 10 items 2 from amazon and 8 from us and returned them all to FBA. We had to email MD team and eventually were reimbursed seller support could not comprehend the issue.
