Need advice on multiple listings for single ASIN

Hi,
Just joined Seller Central but have experience of Vendor so not totally new to this!
My question is…
I have picked up from a previous colleague - I am looking to list a set of products which are not showing on my inventory - however when I create a new product the listing sees an already present line in the same EAN number ( the product is correct but shown as out of stock and I would suspect that this set up somehow by my previous colleague) and (THIS IS THE PROBLEM BIT>>>) it seems to take all the info from the page which is already present.
I want to start from scratch with different catagories and add all my own product info so can anyone tell me if
a) I can do this and how?
b) Can I get rid of the old listings

I so hope this all makes sense  and all advice is gratefully received

a) No
b) No

Once a listing exists in the catalogue it’s there ‘forever’, and potentially on all platform versions (.de, .com, etc…)
You can try to update the existing details to better reflect the product. But if it uses the same EAN, then Amazon will (correctly) consider it to be the same product so wont allow a duplicate listing to be created.

If the original listing was created by your account, or one directly connected with your account, then you may have listing control. If not, then you might struggle to make any changes and would need to contact seller support (good luck with that).

But… If the details are correct, and all you’re trying to do is add stock though, you can just add the existing listing to your inventory and set your available stock levels.
