Sending Pallets To FBA - Can You Overwrite The Number Of Pallets Stated By Amazon?
I’m trying to send a pallet load of stuff down to FBA but as I go through the Send To Amazon process, they keep saying it needs to go on two pallets, however, in my opinion it should just be one pallet. It’s well under the maximum height of 180cm, it’s well under the maximum weight and it is going to one location. I’ve tried reducing the amount of stuff I’m sending and it’s still coming out at two pallets. Is there any way to overwrite Amazon’s view that it needs to be two pallets and input it just as one?
Thanks

I would go through and recheck the input measurements and ensure you are using the right units of weight and dimensions.
The pallet number is based on the dimensions that you input and will split when they detect the dimensions require it.
Try narrowing down the issue to weight or dimensions by inputting some false dimensions before confirming. The maximum weight for a pallet is 500kg on Amazon whereas a lot of couriers accept 750kg, so just make sure the aggregate weight or volumetric weight hasn’t exceeded the max.
Once you know if it is volume or weight you can then check what it is that is causing the split in pallets.

Whilst I agree that it is worth checking the box weights and volumes, it is possible to overwrite Amazon’s pallet estimate as long as everything is going to the same destination.
You can do this later on the ‘Confirm carrier and pallet information’ step

Hi Tool_Garden_Centre! Did you manage to find out what was the issue? Was it packaging dimension?
