What to do if someone asks for an invoice for tax purposes to be sent to them after you have sold them an item?

Create one using Word or any other online resource.
If you’re vat registered, include all your details. If not, you can’t charge vat and you mustn’t make any reference to it on your invoice.
Then send it to the customer using messages as a pdf.

we create one on word. but i wish amazon allowed custoemrs to download them.
we have so many customers demanding them and i wish it was automatically created once you are VAT registered for customers to download.
there will be days you get about 6 messages for VAT invoice most likely are the german customers

I’ve been using the message below for about six months now with no issues whatsoever (and even a couple of thankyou’s from customers!). I think you need to be registered for Amazon’s VAT service though.

Go to Your Orders.
Find the order for which you need to print or download your invoice or order summary.
Tip: If you don’t see the order you’re looking for, select another option from the Orders placed in menu.
Click on Invoice.
You can now print your invoice.
(You may need to wait until Amazon confirms the item has been dispatched before this option is available)
