Multiple product on one order

Hi all,
Did I see the other day, if you get an order from a customer for more than one product it should dispatched separately.
Should I do this even if on same order ID number?
Thanks for your advise.

If it is the same order number, then you will need to pack the items in one parcel. Otherwise the customer will think that there are items missing from their order.

The discussion was about a seller who combined multiple unrelated orders from the same buyer into one package and shipped them like this.

Orders which contain more items should be processed just like they were received - as 1 order with everything shipped together.

In some instances Postage can be more costly than sending items individually.

I have a product line which singularly can go Large Letter at £1.06 but if 2 are purchased together and thus have to be sent together become a Small Parcel at £3 plus pence.

When sending each would only cost 2 x £1.06 = £2.12 but over a quid more in the same package!!
