Listing performing poorly suddenly
Hi All,
Having an issue at the minute with one of our listings. This listing had good volume previously with up to 16 units a day selling alongside another seller.
However, we recently ran out of stock and subsequently restocked the item. Since we have done this we are only seeing 9% featured offer, and only seeing 1 to 2 sales a day.
Has this happened to anyone else or have any tips? Talked to SS but useless as usual.

Have you looked at the sales rank of the item has it gone up or down since you last restocked. You can see a historical view of the sales rank by clicking the SKU number in inventory view.
If the Sales rank has gone down then there might be another similar listing taking the sales.
If the Sales rank has stayed the same or has gone up then what is your competitor on the listing doing. Do they have better feedback, quicker delivery times, lower price or are they FBA and your are FBM. All these factors could mean you have less share of the featured offer (buy box)
Seller Support will not give you any help on this and it is pointless asking as you will only get nonsense back from them.

Thanks for this. I have checked and the sales rank has stayed around the same if not slightly went up. We are both FBA sellers however as you said he has more feedback as we are only around 6 months old. Frustrating but I get what you mean.
Just felt strange that from having such a good sales record with this product that it would die off so quickly.

I see what you’re saying about a price war, even when we dropped price to a penny below the other seller we didn’t convert sales. As you said could be changes in customers shopping habits or anything.
We haven’t opened a second Amazon account so unlikely to be this as a reason. Again much appreciated though.
We will continue to monitor for the meantime.
