Same product across different categories
Morning all
I have some products which each span several different categories and there isn’t one specific category that would be better.
For example, the same product could equally be Kitchen Storage, Bathroom Storage, Office Storage, Plant Pot.
So is it possible to select multiple categories for a single product?
Or is the better option to list the same product multiple times with a different category each time? - but I can’t see that working as I would need to send in different stock for each different SKU.
Thanks

no you can’t do that
personally i never search in a category - i just use the general search therefore maybe just add those specific words to your search keywords

Purposely, no.
If you list in a single category Amazon’s algorithms can sometimes show it to buyers even when they’re searching other categories.
If you produce organic sales this way the item will quickly get a sales rank for each separate category and will automatically get added to additional ones (I believe 1 product can have a max of 4, 1 you set and 3 auto ones)
There’s no way at all to control this though.
