Delisted item on Amazon
Hi, I am new to selling on Amazon, in fact I haven’t even got my product into the warehouse for fulfilment by amazon. However because I worded my product description to include words that are, I see now, failing to adhere to amazon’s very strict and correct description code, they have delisted my product before it has got to the warehouse. Any advice would be welcome.

Have you tried changing the words to make them adhere to the policy?
Are you sure it is the words that is the problem or could it be something else?

Hello. Thank you for replying. It is definately the wording Amazon didn’t like. I can understand why now, but I am too worried to close the list and re-start it as I am afraid that it won’t accept the SKU - the products are being shipped with that SKU on it and it’s imperitive it arrives in the warehouse and is matched with my listing. This is my first ever shipment and already I am loosing control of it.

Thank you to both replys. I haven’t delisted it as it has left the manufacturer and is on its way so can’t change code. The item is an Avocado Saver. The item won’t show because there is no stock (I hope this is a good thing and it gets sorted before it gets to warehousse). The description involved a reference to the nutritional benefits of Avocado itself. Amazon rightly said that (although I disclaimed by saying ‘studies showed’) that I should not do this.
The only thing I am hoping is (I have a case logged with A) is that they don’t object to it coming in and going live (shipping still up too). I have totally changed the description to not refer to any studies, and A have taken on board it’s an Avocado Saver and not a medicinal product. Hope this helps.
I wish I had not fallen at this first hurdle, but I have. I am also hoping that the case is looked at soon as have not delisted.
