We have sent stock to the EU for years to be fulfilled by the PAN EU programme. We are registered for VAT in 5 EU countries. Over the last few months we have noticed a reduction in margins in France and Italy. Upon checking I have noticed that we are being charged the EFN fees instead of the FBA fees on some of our items but not others.

Why is this? On our best selling item we have frequently been charged 9.60 EUR on the EFN, but we should be paying closer to 6.60 EUR an item using the Pan-EU FBA programme?

Am I missing something here? Why is this happening?

Our stock held in the EU (being shipped to EU customers) is being charged an EFN fulfilment charge of €8.45, when it should be the PAN-EU FBA fulfilment charge.

With identical items (aside from colour) some are being charge the higher EFN rate of €8.45, whereas others are the lower PAN-EU FBA of €4.11. Stock is all held in the same location etc, so cannot see why there is this discrepency.

Has anyone had any experience with this. How to resolve/ will Amazon reimburse etc?

I sell supplements in the Health & Beauty category across all Amazon marketplaces. They are vitamins, proteins etc and are not classed as medicinal. In Europe all but one of those supplements are restricted from Pan EU as they are classed as a 'food or drink' which cannot be shipped across borders. If these products, which are certainly not food or drink, cannot be shipped across boarders then why are they eligible for EFN - at a much higher cost? This ships the same products across the same boarders.

It feels like Amazon are purposely blocking my products from Pan EU to charge the much higher price of EFN. Has anyone else experienced this?
