🎯UK SEO 2026: Get Found by More Buyers
Hello sellers!
Ready to boost your visibility and connect with more customers this year? Search engine optimisation remains one of the most powerful tools for growing your Amazon business. Let's explore how you can optimise your listings to get found by more buyers in 2026.
Why SEO Matters for Your Success
When customers search for products on Amazon, they're actively looking to buy. Getting your products in front of these high-intent shoppers can transform your business. With the right optimisation strategies, you can improve your product rankings, increase visibility, and ultimately drive more sales.
Essential SEO Strategies for 2026
1. Master Your Keywords
Your product titles and descriptions need to speak the language your customers use.
🤔Think about:
- What terms would you use if you were searching for your product?
- What problems does your product solve?
- What specific features make your product stand out?
💡Research your competitors' listings and note which keywords appear frequently in top-performing products in your category.
2. Craft Compelling Product Titles
Your title is prime real estate for both customers and Amazon's search algorithm.
Include:
- Your brand name
- Key product features
- Size, colour, or quantity (where relevant)
- Primary use case or benefit
💡Keep it clear, accurate, and customer-focused whilst incorporating your most important keywords naturally.
3. Optimise Your Product Descriptions
Use your bullet points and product description to:
- Highlight key benefits (not just features)
- Answer common customer questions
- Include relevant secondary keywords naturally
- Make it easy to scan with clear formatting
4. Leverage Backend Search Terms
Don't forget your backend keywords in Seller Central.
Use this space for:
- Alternative spellings
- Synonyms
- Related search terms that didn't fit naturally in your visible content
5. Enhance with Quality Images
Whilst not traditional SEO, high-quality images significantly impact conversion rates. Use all available image slots to showcase your product from multiple angles and in use.
6. Encourage and Respond to Reviews
Customer reviews signal product quality to both shoppers and Amazon's algorithm. Provide excellent service, follow up appropriately, and always respond professionally to feedback.

Hello, @Kai_Amazon please can you respond to my inquiry
Case ID - 12165904112
I’m having issues with ungating it’s been under review for 2 weeks

@Kai_Amazon Why do we have to put up with this constant indoctrination on the sellers' form. Instead would it not be better if Mods answered the specific topics sellers need resolved. Move all these unnecessary interventions to Notifications or News where we can read them equally well if they are relevant to us. We run businesses already, its a bit insulting and too time consuming to reply to posts like this which are generic and of little interest.
Actually if Amazon policy pages were navigable, clear and concise this kind of indoctrination would be completely unnecessary. OR Amazon stopped fiddling with arbitrary title changes that make no sense Or stopped making ridiculous suppressions of product descriptions. When did a cashmere scarf become a pesticide biohazard ????? Micromanagement or what ??

What do you mean by this?
❌ Ignoring mobile experience - Most customers browse on mobile devices
Seller_AlYpsVHv0gj21
Thank you for reaching out to us. This mainly means that most customers shop on mobile, where your title, images, and bullet points may be truncated or displayed differently. It's worth previewing your listing on a mobile device to make sure the most important information appears first.
What is the cause of this?
Is it bad programming by Amazon ? Or is it the fault of the phone companies?

Kai
As you seem to have ignored my question I'll assume that the fault lies with Amazon.
If I am wrong please come back to me.
