Read onlyI've been trying to add in each of my product listings one product at a time over the course of a few weeks, because it gets tiresome. I've been able to add them with no issue since I opened my account in 2023.
Today I tried to create a new listing like normal and received the following message:
"5461: You may not create new ASINs for the brand: Weldon Flavorings
If you believe the product you want to sell is not already listed in the Amazon catalog and should be listed as a new ASIN, submit an application by clicking here and completing the form."
I am not yet enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, but I do own the brand and all trademark rights to the brand. Why am I receiving this error message? Did somebody else enroll in Amazon Brand Registry under my name? Is this just an error and I need to open a case with Amazon? Is there a limit to the number of products I am allowed to list? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
Hi there @Seller_g1PWzx2TQyZ5Q,
When you create a Brand Amazon requires that you prove that your products are authentic product for the brand. This can occur for any product and any Brand if you aren't Brand Registered, it does not mean that anyone has registered the brand. Please follow the steps in the Error Code 5461 and approval requirements help page to appeal to list this product. If you run into issues, please provide your Seller Support case and I can review further. Thank you.
