Please help! crazy fees out of nowhere!
Hi guys,
For some reason since 28th of February, I am being charged significantly higher Amazon fees on all my sales.
My product which is being sold for £17.99 I used to get a net proceed of £10.95 after all fees, but now the exact same product and same price I am only receiving a net of £7.68! Which basically eats into all of my profits. From looking at the transaction details it is showing that the ‘domestic fee’ under ‘Base amount’ has increased as well as the tax charged.
Has there been a draconian surge in fees that I don’t know about?? Someone please tell me this is some sort of mistake or resolvable! My amazon business is over if this is the new fee system and I recieve well under half my sale price after fees!
Would really appreciate someones advise and expertise.

Yes, from 1st March fees have increased and Amazon have moved to dimensional weight for a lot of items. Small but bulky items may see a much higher FBA fee.

You need to explain a little more as to what is happening.
Are you using FBA or fulfilling yourself?
Which fees have increased?
If FBA, has the size/weight changed?
There is also the increase in FBA fees that has just come in, which will further affect it.
And I just reread that, from the 28th Feb.= Fee increase as of 1st March.

Ask them to remeasure the product. It has worked for me in the past.

I have a couple of suppliers that provide a fulfillment service which is good as there is no cost to send products from supplier to fc and no time wasted prepping products for FBA. And I don’t have to spend half of my life waiting for UPS. Their fees are very reasonable, the only reason why I moved to FBA was the Prime badge but for many products Prime is no longer worth it.
