Different Pictures for the same ASIN on different European Sites?

Hi there,

Does anyone know if there is anyway for the Same ASIN to have to different images between UK, Italy, Spain, France and Germany?

We initially just sold English label products, but now we have to sell products in each individual language, but we also have reviews on each of the European listings we don’t want to lose.

Thanks for any answers!

If the instructions and/or the packaging are in different languages then it’s a different product so needs a different ASIN. One way to get round it would be to change the packaging and instructions to be multi-language, which only requires one new ASIN. When the stock sells out of the single language versions you could request an ASIN merge, or just sell the multi-language version on the same ASIN.

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it’s not possible to make it multi language, there’s not enough room. If you can request an ASIN merge, can you also request the opposite and make a division?

This is an old chestnut.
In theory, if you successfully make a change to the UK asin image, it will change on the EU sites too.
That’s the theory and for me works 90% of the time. Occasionally it does not and then requires a call to seller support. Good luck with that.
In your case, it’s the other way round. You can change product descriptions and bullet points for each site but not the image.
Assuming you have the ability to change the UK image, you could also add the foreign images to your UK listing. This would mean 5 images which you may consider too messy, but at least all 5 will be visible on all 5 EU sites.
