i got cancel request after package has shipped.
package has shipped yesterday, but buyer requested cancel the order today (reason: no longer needed).
should i give him a full refund?? (it was standard shipping )

Advise the buyer to go through the return process when they receive the order. You cannot cancel an order after it has been confirmed as shipped.
Do not refund at this point. If you do, they buyer has no incentive to return it.

Great, great suggestion here! Just as @bookwormapril suggested, you may inform the buyer through buyer-seller messaging that they may absolutely return the product for a refund after receipt and you may even decide to include steps on how they may go about requesting this on their end. After you authorize a return request, Amazon strongly advises that you wait until you receive the item back from the buyer before you issue a refund. If you allow the buyer to keep or discard the item, you would issue the refund without waiting for the return. Im adding some very helpful pages and videos below for you to review on this matter.
