Amazon insisting I refund without return
I sold a product merchant fulfilled, the customer requested a return which was auto approved. The return tracking shows no progress at all, yet the customer keeps contacting Amazon, and Amazon keeps contacting me telling me to resolve the issue, issue a refund, ect. This has been going on several months now and I'm getting quite annoyed that this likely scammer is just trying to get a free product, and I keep having to reply to Amazon messages that i am not going to refund because I haven't received the return, and tracking shows it was never shipped back. Can a mod or someone look into this for me?

Keep in mind that when Amazon Customer Service messages you, they are doing nothing more than passing along what the customer said to them.
Sounds like it's not Amazon "insisting", but the customer who doesn't want to return the item.
Best of luck on getting them to finally get the message.

Hello @Seller_OD3iIF4Tw1zZo
I am sorry you are caught between Customer Service and the buyer on this one. More than likely, the customer service associate is oblivious to the fact that you are not required to refund until the product is returned to you. That is, unless it qualifies for a returnless refund.

Because CS is basically worthless. that's the reason.
