Help - Account re-activation issue
Hi
Apologies if this has been asked before but, my seller account was de-activated in august 2020 as Amazon could not verify me, never used it, never listed anything on it.
Trying t re-activate it so i can close it, i have submitted my bank statement and driving license and even asked what further information they need.
Every time though i keep getting the same cut and paste response:
our Amazon seller account has been deactivated and we do not have enough information to reactivate your seller account at this time.
Why is this happening?
Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement. If you want to sell on Amazon again, we need additional documentation to verify your payment methods and your identity.
How do I reactivate my account?
This Amazon seller account will remain deactivated. Register a new seller account at https://sell.amazon.co.uk/. Once you register, upload the required documents to the “Identity Verification” section of Seller Central. After successfully verifying your identity, you may be permitted to again sell on Amazon using the new account.
What happens if I do not send the requested information?
If you do not register a new account and provide the required documents, you may not be allowed to sell on Amazon.
Sincerely,
Merchant Review Team

You would also have needed to send either your UTR confirmation letter from HMRC or ltd company documents

Just noticed this in the email, which I have never noticed before.
So they are saying to register/open another account ?!
Is this why so many are ending up in a mess with linked accounts etc. ?
