How do I add VAT to the price of my listings ? I cannot find a way to do it

Hello all fellow Amazon sellers plus @Sarah_Amzn @Julia_Amazon @Winston_Amazon

I would be very grateful if someone could please explain to me how to add VAT to any listing...

When I edit/create a listing there is a box called ''List Price with Tax for Display'' but no matter what I put there (UK based hence the price plus 20% it's what I have been inputting) this price doesn't appear on the listing (it shows only the price without VAT added) and hence I'm unable to charge the VAT which I am now required to charge per UK law

Amzon instructions are no good as they seem to be obssesed with explaining everything about provding VAT on business customers invoices without explaining the most basic thing: how to add VAT to any listing, which is bizarre in my view...

Any help would be really appreciated

Thank you in advance

The VAT-inclusive price that you want your item to sell at should be entered in "Your Price" (higher up the listing page).

The field you are talking about (List Price with Tax) is the list price of the item, for example, recommended selling price etc.

You should also complete the "Product Tax Code" field to ensure the tax calculations are done correctly.

Why aren't the mods helping? Several posts about this now.

For used secondhand books where these isn't a 'list price' can we just put 0 in that field??

Does Amazon really want to lose all secondhand booksellers from their listings? If so they are going about it the right way!

Please help!
