Inventory in different marketplaces

For inventory that is already synced across USA, Canada and Mexico is it possible to have some products not availble in one or two marketplaces? Right now all products are available on all three marketplaces. I would like to remove a few from CA and MX but not from the US market. How can this be done smoothly?

Do you actually have items physically stored in Amazon warehouses in those other countries?

Or are you talking about shipping from the U.S. for orders placed on those platforms?

If the latter, just delete all listings from other platforms -- not just close but delete -- whether active or inactive. Delete all.

Disable synchronization (BIL) so that listings are not created. Then put those platforms on vacation.

Check at least once a month to make sure Amazon has not sabotaged your efforts and added inventory.

Hi @Seller_qvzwH5THvwHol,

Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! I'm happy to see that you have received some great insights and suggestions in the replies here. I did want to chime in with additional approaches that you may be interested in.

If you fulfill your own orders, you can choose one of two ways to manage your inventory pools across different stores:

  • You can manage your inventory as a shared pool by using the same SKU in each store. If you do so, your inventory availability in each store will be the combined amount of inventory across all three stores.
  • You can use distinct SKUs in each store, which will allow you to manage inventory availability separately in each store.

For more information on this, I'd recommend reading through the following resources:

Please let me know if this is what you were looking for! If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Thanks again,

Jameson
