you need to read the seller university pages before you start - link at the bottom of your seller central homepage
you can’t list your stock on amazon before you buy it. You have to have the stock in your possession - or ready to send from your supplier and then create a shipment to amazon by creating the listing and sending stock. Once your items are fully received, amazon will then display them for sale
but there is a lot more to it -an awful lot more
you can advertise your amazon listing on social media - but not the other way round

Before you even think of selling on Amazon, you need a good working knowledge of general business practice and management, including at the very least
˙ Types of business organization - sole trader, partnership, limited company etc
˙ Taxation – income or corporation tax, VAT, National Insurance contributions
˙ Insurance – product liability, use of premises for storing goods, use of car for business purposes
˙ Product knowledge (you won’t get far if you know nothing about what you are selling) and sources of supply
˙ Accounts – basic book-keeping skills and record-keeping (invoices etc)
˙ Any licensing, registration and safety regulations for your specific products – toys, food, alcohol, electrical goods etc
˙ Contract and consumer law, including online selling
˙ Costing, pricing, profit forecasting and other financial management
When you’ve learnt all that, do as others have advised - work through Amazon’s Seller University. Forget anything you saw on Youtube videos: they are incomplete and misleading. Selling on Amazon is a lot more complicated than they pretend

Just out of interest, what it is you are importing and was it from Alibaba?
