Safe-T Claim Denied...
Customer returned an MFN item that was used, a different make, colour, size and type and 3 years old
Amazon refusing to honour the Safe-T claim as usual with no reason stated
What else can I do?

Your only option is to hit Amazon with a LBA and then take them to the SCC adding costs and fair expenses to the claim.

Don't disagree with Wentvale But we usually send the buyer a letter before action. Amazon will just park the correspondence and force court action but the buyer will not want to risk a judgement (if it eventually comes to court action) once they know that there is evidence and that a judgement comes with it damage to credit ratings. We find buyers very responsive to this approach and usually want to resolve the issue by return.

My experience is the total opposite. Amazon has always waited until a few days before the court date and they have always given in without prejudice and paid up in full.
Remember that they are the ones who refunded the customer automatically and they are the ones denying the Safe-T claim. In my eyes, they are 100% responsible so the action should be against Amazon, not the customer. Amazon should deal with the customer if they believe they are not being honest.
