Evri not collecting from parcelshop

Any advise would be appreciated. I buy my postage through amazon shipping and drop all my parcels at my local evri parcelshop, unfortunately they have not collected either today or yesterday. Ive contacted evri, not much use there as expected. Can I pick up these parcels and take them to another parcelshop where they are collecting? Or will this mess up the tracking VTR? will they even sacn in another shop as they are already scanned in? Im sure its probably a staff issue, or usual driver on holiday or something, just not sure what to so for the best.

I doubt the shop will allow you to pick up a parcel once it has already been scanned into the parcel shop. It would mess up the tracking on the parcel. They may not even be able to locate the parcels easily.

Have you tried asking the shop what the issue is and if there is anyone they can phone to report a missed collection? It may well just be the holiday season that is causing an issue.

If the shop does let you pick up the parcels I can’t see an issue with taking them to another shop but not sure if they could scan them in they have been scanned in elsewhere. They may be reluctant to take them if they can’t scan the parcels in as they will be paid per parcel they accept.

I guess if Evri aren’t collecting them from the shop and can’t say when they will do, the shop can’t refuse to let you have them back.

Hello @The_Radiant_Ribbon_1

I suggest to inform also the buyer that can be some delays, just to set up correct expectations.

Regards
