Using Amazon shipping for SFP - is there a minimum number of orders needed daily to onbaord?
We used to use seller fulfilled prime and fulfil our orders using Amazon shipping just prior to covid when we had to stop offering SFP and now when we are looking to start SFP again, we have been told that to be eligible for Amazon shipping there is a daily order minimum but i cannot find what this is anywhere and the shipping team have not disclosed what it is.
Has anyone come across this before? Our daily orders vary especially at the moment and im wondering if Amazon shipping is only for the bigger sellers now
Thanks

Their t&cs helpfully state
We reserve the right to refuse to carry any Shipment(s) and make no guarantee that the Services will be available in respect of any minimum volume(s), at any specific time(s) or in any specific location(s).
If they are still offering to take your orders just keep an eye on the prices as they tend to hike them when volume drops

Cant you create an account with one of the other couriers Amazon allows like Royal Mail and use them instead?

Thank you so much for your reply.
So much clarity from amazon as usual
Will keep an eye on the rates and see if we can get Royal Mail onboard too, though some our items exceed 2kg. Still reluctant to try Evri for Prime as we have used them for normal orders and they can be very hit and miss

To use Amazon shipping for SFP, it is on an invite basis only.
So you may not be able to use it. Though having used it previously, you may well be able to.
I did get an invite many moons ago and can’t really remember what the minimum quantities where, but I think it was somewhere in the region of 20 + orders per day, though don’t quote me on that.
They most definitely do have minimums as do the likes of DPD.
So unless your sending fairly decent amounts of mail, your far better of looking at RM, Evri & DPD.

Just keep an eye on the cost of the RM shipping for anything over 2kg. I find that the DPD cost service and support is the best. Amazon have just introduced an Evri next day service which is more expensive than DPD and miles less reliable. Also I find tracking on DPD to be good RM and Evri are really poor. When parcels go missing with DPD I can speak to their customer support and most times I get a fast, on the day, resolution that I can pass to the buyer. With RM and Evri its a ‘bot’ that passes the enquiry on to a human. Often taking more than 24 hours, by which time Amazon have often refunded the buyer. So I then have to try to stop the delivery or more often the item gets delivered and I eith lose the item or have to try to have it collected.

Thank you, will definitely try to keep the average weight under 2kg if using Royal Mail. I agree DPD are by far the best even with non prime orders and with Evri, once their tracking stops updating even if its at their depot, they tell you to assume parcel is lost.
