UK Figurative trademark accepted for brand registered
Hi
We have a “Figurative” trademark and we are applying for brand registry.
According to the amazon brand registery eligibility criteria, image based trademarks are accepted.
However, amazon brand registry keep replying to our applications with “Your trademark is a design mark and you selected word mark during enrollment.”
And by the way where is in the enrollment can we select type of trademark? I haven’t seen it.
I have replied to Amazon with my argument but all I get is the regular copy/paste of the same reply.
Thanks in advance for your help

As far as I’m aware it has to be image plus text not just image.I’m about to Brand Register next month & I dont see anywhere on the form to select word or image based marks just a box on 1st page to enter word based Tm

I was told by brand registry support that it is correct that the option to chose the type of trademark isn’t available in the application form and my application was wrongfully rejected - I was asked to re-apply and reference the case ID in the application.
I was then sent the same message that I didn’t chose the correct trademark type in the application form.
Am I missing something? I have been sent in loop 3-4 times now and everytime I open a case I receive a copy/paste reply and the case is closed!
I am applying for an image based trademark which is allowed according to the amazon guidelines.
Has anyone experienced this? Or, does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help!
