BRAND ASIN ERROR WHENEVER I TRY TO EDIT LISTING

Please please can someone help me as I'm tearing my hair out with this! I'm relatively new seller and the information I'm getting from Amazon seller support just isn't helping. They are giving me copy/pasted replies that do not directly address my problem.

Whenever I try to edit my listing i get the error below regarding the title (even if i am not trying to update the title):

The value 'MOOPRA 3x Period Pants for Teenage Girls | Honeycomb Absorption, Breathable, Antibacterial | Eco-Friendly and Reusable | Teenager, Adolescent girl | Heavy & Light flow | Light incontinence' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'MOOPRA Menstrual Panties for Teenagers, Girls and Children | Light Incontinence | Washable and Reusable | OEKO-TEX: Free from Harmful Products' for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN 'B0D461TKRP', update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc). Learn how to fix this error

I own the brand, and i am the owner of the EAN/UPC code through GT1.

Please help !

Thanks in advance.

I would download a speadsheet file and then do a partial update of whatever it is you are trying to change. By updating it should only effct the values and should not create the conflict.

If this does not work, it will give you a spreadsheet error whereby you can then make the conflicting changes and do a full update.

Hi,

As strange as it may sound, using a “combined title” as an intermediate step can often help when switching from an old title to a new one. When you update the title via the web interface, you’ll get immediate feedback on whether the new title is accepted—but note that the red error message only appears when you click away from the title input field.

The trick is to shorten the old title slightly (by removing a few words from the end) and add the beginning of your new title. Try to include as much of the new title as possible. Save this temporary version, wait about 15 minutes, and then make a second update to finalize the title change to your new version.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards, Michael

Hello @Seller_FhcGxGcbFKlge

Did you try the advices provided by peer Sellers @Seller_i6S8knzW6zU6Z & @Seller_ae51e0CJoHqCX? (thank you sellers for that)

My advice will be for you to try to upload the item updates using a spreadsheet.

Regards,

JiAlex

I can only wish you good luck! I’ve been struggling with listing issues for a long time. Listing a product is so challenging that I don’t even bother bringing in new items—the process is a nightmare.

For existing listings, I constantly run into errors. Batch Listing sounds simple, but it’s very difficult to manage. A new listing can easily take a day to upload, and if there are any errors to fix, it can take a week or more!

I had an issue with my best-selling listing, and it took around five weeks to get it re-listed!
