Account Verification HMRC Letter expired
Hi
I had email from amazon asking for account verification documents even though i am selling on amazon since 2018, Reason they saying is my HMRC UTR letter i submitted in 2021 expired ,so i have to submit a new one , so is it mandatory now to submit HMRC UTR letter in every year or is it a new rule ,i submitted now one dated 6th feb 2024 and waiting for account to get verified again
I got my account verified now but some one tell me please my old UTR letter dated 2021 was expired so given new UTR letter dated in 2024 is that mean i need to provide a UTR leter once in every 3 years ?
can any mods on this forum shed some light on this please.

there no set time frame- you have to provide an up to date Confirmation of uTR letter every time they request it. In 17yrs ive had to provide 3 so far.
