Customer asking for the return postage payed for?
Customer requests return and i approve. The buyer selected item was "
Return Reason: Incompatible or not useful for intended purpose" and left a comment that item was too big. The item is described exactly as it is in the listing i.e measurements. The item was on free delivery. I am happy to refund the cost of the item but not so keen on paying for the buyer’s return postage as the item is as described on the listing. The buyer has asked for me to refund they’re return postage for them? Should I?
Thanks

Some categories require you to do free returns for example clothing. Just double check the item that is being returned is not from one of those categories otherwise you are fine to refuse to pay return postage

No, you are not required to pay for the return shipping on discretionary returns.

Thanks for the advice. The item is not in the clothing category so i should be fine not to pay the return postage i think.
