Ship in own container (SIOC)

Has anyone found a good way to get the SOIC setting changed? I sell mainly toys and more and more of my products are being sent SIOC.

Not only does this damage the product but the recipient (or rather their child) can see what is being delivered.

Whenever I try and ask Seller Support I just get automated answers telling me they will change it if they get enough complaints.

SIOC is one of the most opaque areas of Amazon policy and the only “guidance” i could find a few months ago about it basically mirrored the advice given to you by Support. Amazon decide if a product is SIOC and if they get enough buyer complaints they make it not SIOC again.

I think likely the common view is for sellers to package their items before sending to FBA since sellers don’t want complaints. That would also necessitate using FNSKU if not already doing so.
