Account under review but I need the disbursement

I have my German account under review, I’ve appealed twice but technically there’s nothing to appeal so they reply with a standard rejection and ask me for a plan.

I do need advice on how to get it successfully appealed but in the meantime, I have a more pressing issue. They have about 3000 euro’s withheld and I need it to pay off my working capital credit. If I miss a payment the interest is like 57%.

Is there a correct contact address and seperate appeal to have the money disbursed? Has anyone successfully been able to get money released whilst under review or suspension?

I suspect my account is under review from having 3 A-Z’s in a short time frame. All addresses were pack stations addreses and I tried to address amazon DE’s concerns. So they can’t withold my money for say… illegal or fake goods. I read somewhere that amazon can even keep the funds forever (…until you take it to small claims) if you can’t prove goods are from the authorised distributor. This shouldn’t be the case in my example. I think I’m under review but not suspended over A-Z’s.

Any help to get my money released would be great.

Thanks in advance.

So your account is not suspended but just under a review? Are you still able to sell?

Account reviews are normal when you are experiencing a sudden increase in selling volume, order-related defects or refund rate.

Most of them allow you to continue selling while your performance is being reviewed, but the funds are usually witheld. If you would like to speed up the review, you can appeal by providing Amazon this:

  • How long you’ve been in business
  • The sources of your inventory
  • Anticipated monthly sales on Amazon
  • The availability of items for shipping
  • The address of any retail locations
  • Links to other Amazon websites where you are actively selling
  • Tracking information for recently dispatched orders
  • Your VAT number
