Amazon is charging sales tax when it shouldm't. How do I fix it?

In Texas there's no sales tax on groceries. If you have to prepare the food then there's no tax. If it's ready to eat like fast food then there is tax. We sell tea, which isn't taxable in Texas. Yet, Amazon just charged a customer sales tax on a purchase. We're in Texas, the customer is in Texas. There should be no tax. I have no idea where to even start looking... help!?

You do not / can not fix it.

If you are terribly upset about this, write to your state tax board. Write to your congress person.

Complain to you dog / cat / neighbor.

None of these will do the slightest bit of good.

It's not interesting enough for media.

Bottled/canned tea gets taxed in Texas as do sodas.
