Why has my new product got no buy box?
I am new to Amazon and have just added my unique product to the catalogue, for FBM to start with.
Why do we have no buy box, considering we are the manufacturer and there is nobody else with the same product?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

New sellers are not eligible for the buy box for 90 days. Some listings aren’t given a buy box at all.
If you are the only seller why does it matter - you’re bound to get all the sales, till someone joins you.

FBM? New seller?
You can’t have the buy box, any buy box, until your account has been open 90 days, but if yours is the only listing then the buy box doesn’t matter as there won’t be any “other sellers” to compete with.
Not every product is given a buy box though.

As others have said, you need to be selling for more than 90 days to be eligible for the BB.
Even then, as we experience on our own products (we’re the “manufacturer”), sometimes products simply won’t get a BB due to Amazon not being sure if the price is competitive or not.
Others are wrong when they say that it doesn’t matter - It does. It’s several extra clicks to get to basket and it won’t rank as well in search - Just the way that Amazon’s A9 system is.
Sell for more than 90 days, maybe go FBA (biggest factor), professional account, great metrics, good feedback and reviews, competitive price and you may win the BB.
