FBA wrong item returned, how to get reimbursed?
A customer purchased a product I manufacture and it was shipped via FBA, purchase price $169. The customer returned a few pieces of wire and a plug that I do not make or sell, in my product box, Amazon refunded the order. Amazon should have caught it, my product is an electronic device that weighs almost a pound, the wires the customer returned weigh about an ounce. How do I go about getting reimbursed by Amazon? There doesn't seem to be any option for FBA wrong item returned.

You can open a case to be reimbursed for an FBA order here. It may say at first that it isn't eligible, but click the link on the bottom saying that you need more help with this issue.
For situations like this, I use this form:
This was an FBA order. The buyer returned a different item. The buyer purchased a KicKee Pants footie but returned a Carter's jacket that we do not carry.
This was from Removal Order ID Shipment ID XXXX
the shipment tracking number is USPS XXXXX
The item originally ordered was:
SKU XXXXX
ASIN XXXXX
Order ID XXXXX
I will provide images of the returned product and LPN sticker plus a picture of the return shipping label.
The pictures will show the returned item does not match the listing.
Make sure you attach pictures of the return shipping label, the LPN sticker on the return product, and the product that was returned outside of any packaging.
