Can amazon loss inventory after being marked as received
Hi Guys,
As someone fairly new to FBA, i wanted to ask a hopefully simple question.
After goods are checked into the FC can amazon then loose items at the FC at my cost, for example. I ship 100pcs of ASIN X, this is received in full & showing 100pcs received, from this point on any units lost / inventory adjustments are at amazon expense ?

Hey.
Yes, Amazon typically reimburses sellers for lost inventory if it can be confirmed that the items were misplaced within their Fulfilment Centres.

Short answer... Yes.
Long answer... But... If they decide the items are lost.
They can choose to replace the missing units with 'identical' stock from another seller... You can sometimes end up with random items mixed with your stock, wondering where they came from.
Or... Amazon will reimburse you what 'they' think is a reasonable wholesale price for the stock, this price is totally unrelated to your chosen selling price.
