how do i close an account that is deactivated for VAT , i dont want to sell in the UK anymore or gt a vat number can anyone help me here

You cannot fully close a deactivated account. You either need to get it reactivated or just allow to go dormant - but that's no good if you want to continue selling on Amazon.

Am I right in assuming you are not resident in UK and you should have been VAT registered for having goods in UK FBA ? (apologies if I have misunderstood).
