Change in box dimensions
Hi, we are changing the box of a product, so its dimensions will be smaller.
We will keep the same EAN/ASIN, so i’m concerned how we can manage the transition with amazon:
We will still have old (bigger) boxes within amazon’s FCs when we ship the newer (smaller) boxes to amazon.
Is there any way we can set up 2 different sizes until we run out of the old stock?

I would expect you have to wait until the old packaging is completely out of stock.
Unless you plan on having 2 different ASINs, perhaps one with an Amazon barcode instead of Manufacturer barcode.
You can request re-measurement of ASINs in the ‘contact us’ section on sellercentral.
you want to go Help - Get Support - Then in the box just type ‘Remeasure’ - Then a box appears below and says ‘You have 20 of 20 remeasurement requests remaining this month.’ - You just copy and paste in the ASIN you need remeasuring.
I would only do this once you’re sure your old design is completely sold out.

The simplest way to do it, is to create a second SKU.
Send the inventory in on it, close the listing, allow the old units to sell out, amend the listing and make the new SKU active.
Obviously when doing this, timing will be everything.
The above is only if the product itself hasn’t changed. If it has, then you need to create a new listing for it.
