Valid Tracking Rate and Royal Mail Tracked 24 Labels

Hi all,

I always send my FBM using Royal Mail Tracked 24 and always enter tracking codes correctly.

The parcels are scanned on time and delivered on time.

Yet in the last 4 days I have had 4 orders show up on VTR report which amazon flagged as not having correct tracking entered - when I enter the exact tracking from that report into Royal Mail tracking system is shows as delivered on time.

There are scans on dispatch and on delivery and in between, everything looks fine on Royal Mail website.

So, what am I meant to do? Clearly the tracking is fine, so it is Amazon who does not detect them for some reason...

Could it be the spaces in the tracking numbers? If so, all my tracking numbers have spaces, yet only these few (four) seem to be not recognised?

Thanks for all your help!

There’s an issue with VTR at the moment. Mine is tanking, mostly RM but also DHL but I don’t use anyone else.

You’re not alone.

One of my categories is now’s under 95% and I’m expecting the dreaded suspension.

I filed a support case and received a response that all of it is my fault, because I resubmitted the tracking information yesterday (10 days after delivery).

Yet... I was advised to resubmit tracking information without spacing to "retrospectively rectify VTR issues".

So, of course, the support case now loses any meaning, because to them it looks like it's happening due to my fault for submitting the tracking late (even if I was told to do so!) and not the fact that the tracking numbers were fine to begin with, yet were flagged as VTR issues.

Can someone with some sense help? :D

I've had the same issue. Amazon told me I must be incorrectly inputting the tracking number (I wasn't) and that my VTR score couldn't be changed, even though I had submitted proof of the tracking & delivery

When I made the query about this as valid tracking on my orders yet I lost premium eligibility when it said a valid ID was not valid so upon query I was told to submit a plan of action. How does one submit a plan of action when Amazon are at fault. For the sake of a week I just left it and waited until premium eligibility resumed again.

I am in the same situation and raised multiple cases. I believe there is an issue with VTR for Royal Mail at the moment

@TaylorR_Amazon is supposed to be looking in to this via another thread but no reply from Taylor for several days, it is clear the VTR system is broken but frustratingly nobody at Amazon is prepared to admit this, hopefully they are working on it in the background, a simple acknowledgment of this issue from anybody at Amazon would be very reassuring at least...

Me too. Had nearly 30 from the 19th September. I also called seller support and was told I must tell my courier that they made a mistake and it is my couriers fault. Tracking was entered at despatch and items delivered early. It seems Amazon has not recognised many sellers tracking over a small period of time. I use Evri and DPD. My VTR has gone from 99.90% to 93% and a warning exclamation.. Sorry to say Amazon seller help was NO help at all.

We are also having the same issue. 4 items all delivered on the 27th September.

Case created with Support, trying to state that tracking was added retrospectively, Yet it is Amazon Buy Shipping and applied at point of label creation.

I had this in September when the end of day reports had an issue and I bought direct from royal mail had over 40 large letter fail VTR, I was told the reason is RM do not scan all packages, so amazon does not recognise the tracking, especially since they changed to monitoring receipt of orders.
