How many times a day do you have to log back into Amazon with OTP
Driving me insane having to log in 8 or more times a day!

Once at 8-9 when I first log in and then again at 2:28pm.
I do only work 8ish till 3 so suppose it depends how much you’re logged on for. It is irritating because I’m always in the middle of something

Once in the morning,mid afternoon and then evening.To be honest I now look at my outlook email for orders to avoid logging on.The other problem is the wait ( often 5+ minutes) .I also find that sometimes the first code works ,sometimes not ( I always press the ‘ did not receive ‘ button but not sure if this is necessary after you have put in your log in details)

Same here, seems to be a new feature, that the option not to require OTP on a device has disappeared. This feature was only recently activated after a periodic software routine to clean up obsolete files and cookies etc. Previously only had to do it now and again. On an earlier thread about on this topic someone commented it’s better than having you account hijacked or hacked, which of course it is, but seems a bit OTT to me.

and logging us out (such as I get on my bank ) ?

I’ve found if i use google chrome its evertime i go onto Amazon, if i use Firefox its once every week

I’m also on Chrome and have to enter the OTP maybe once every 10- 14 days.

I tell you what I think would drive you more insane, having your account hacked by a scammer. I know it’s a little inconvenient but personally, I would much rather this than be hacked. Especially given the news stories recently about emails and passwords being sold on the black market.

Chrome, Mac, rarely switch it off (emails, browsing, printing, etc., always something needing done and hate waiting for restarts) - I only have to log in maybe once every 2 weeks or so. Almost permanently logged in. And I’m on a VPN.
