How to change primary user name under "User Permissions"?

Hi there!

I’m struggling with changing the user name for the primary account on Amazon US marketplace. I first started off in Amazon EU and would like to scale the business to Amazon US now, but the account verification is not going through due to the fact that Amazon can’t match the name on the documents to the name in Seller Central (it’s empty - please see the screenshot).

Therefore, I believe that I need to get my name displaying there. Seller Support told me to take the tax interview again in order to change it, but it didn’t help…

Any ideas how to get through this situation?

Your image shows User Permissions. That is not where you set up the information amazon uses to match to.

Hi @Oneida and @KJ_Amazon! Thank you both for a response. The information is matching in both the EU/UK account and also the US account. The only difference is that in EU/UK account there is also beneficial owner listed under account info. For US, there is only legal entity and business address visible. Is it supposed to be like that?

What makes me think that Amazon’s Verification team is unable to finish the verification process due to the lack of name under User Permissions is because in the beginning there was an user listed there (old user that helped me with book-keeping). And Amazon asked to verify that person. We removed that user and now there is only one primary user in the Amazon US marketplace, but the name is empty (please see the first screenshot attached to this post).

Any ideas how to go about a situation like this?

Amazon’s Seller Support keeps making suggestions regarding taking the Tax Interview again and updating the login settings, but neither of those have worked…

I’m very thankful for any help/suggestions I can get!

You will need to work with EU support for any assistance you might need for that account.

For the US account, please request that seller support does a primary email address change. This is what modifies the primary user on the account.
