Reasons why Amazon would charge my seller account by credit card

I received this message and from time to get this from Amazon. Can someone explain the REASONS why Amazon would charge my credit card as a seller account? The only reason I can think of is because of 3 refunds on returned items. But I can never find the charges in my account and/or explanation.

We have charged your credit card for $14.24 in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance.

Probably you have no money in your seller account. Go look under "Payments" if there is a balance.

Well, you know that there are returns. If you don't have funds in your account, then yes, they will be paid for by CC. You were told the amounts when you were informed that the returns were happening.
