How do I change my book description?
Hi, I’m an author with a book on Amazon. First I used Amazon Advantage but now I use Amazon Seller Central with FBA. I want to add some info to the book’s blurb, but the only way I can see of doing this is via my Advantage account. If I do this, however, it will relist the book through Advantage which I don’t want to do.
Can anyone help?

Do you mean you want to alter the description of the book on the product page? If there is no description at all, the following sometimes works: (1) go to your inventory list and click the “edit” button to the left of the listing, then (2) click the description tab. Then enter the text you want to enter. However, I don’t think this will work if a description already exists. You might try the “report incorrect product information” link on the product page but you will probably find that you are then asked to provide documentary proof that your proposed corrections are valid, even if you are the publisher.

Yes, I would use KDP Print for my paperbacks too, but my book is a children’s picture book and POD isn’t quite good enough quality for picture books in my opinion. So I got my book printed in bulk by a UK printer, which means I have to use either Advantage or Seller Central for my print books. I can update the description for the Kindle version easily enough but not the print one - they seem to be separate entities. I’ve emailed Amazon now and will let you know the outcome!
