Buy Shipping - delivery confirmation and insurance
Hi all,
I’ve set my shipping defaults to require signature & insurance when the package is £20 or more.
I’m trying to Buy Shipping through Seller Central for a £40 item but the Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For (small parcel) I want to choose says that the shipper doesn’t offer the signature or insurance options in my defaults. So I’m having to use Royal Mail’s own app but this seems wrong.
Is it me?
Also, do buyers ever/often complain about having to sign for something?

Where have you set your shipping defaults ?
If using Buy Shipping you should be able to use whichever method you choose. I have occasionally had that pop up, but if you just refresh and try again it is usually OK.
No couriers or RM are taking signatures now, and haven’t since the beginning of the pandemic, so no com[plaints !
