Read onlyI am trying desperately to list a product (a book) for £295.00.
At first I thought my copies had not been listed as the only available purchasing option was for £461.18. Having spoken to Amazon Seller Support, it transpires that my copies qualified to be the featured offer which is automatically set, in this case at £461.18.
I explained to Seller Support that I wanted to list my product for £295.00, to which I was advised to 'delete the Listing and wait for 24 hours and relist the ASIN with your desired attributes and values'. Having done so I still find myself unable to list the product for the price I actually want to list it at. Am I going completely mad? Probably. I know that the product will not sell at the featured offer price and so I might as well not list it if Amazon are going to override the price at which I set my product.
Below is a screenshot from my inventory. It has what seems to me to be the contradictory labels of 'Sale price £295.00' and 'Featured offer £461.18 + £7.74'. If anyone is able to assist me with listing my product at the price at which I wish for it to be listed I would be incredibly grateful.

As a fellow book-seller, I often find that the featured offer is from a seller who has listed it as 'New', and as I found today when listing a book, the supposed new book was for one printed in 1964 !! - many dropshippers, and Amazon themselves often list as NEW even if there isn't the remotest possibility they can possibly have a new copy, just to get the featured offer box ......though I cannot understand why they will not accept your lower price, and I would guess that you may well find it is deactivated for 'potential high pricing', because it has not been listed as new. What condition is yours ?
