Shipping Perishable Items
Since we sell food products, some of which are perishable and must be shipped with ice packs. Especially as we transition to warmer months, transit time is a concern of ours and as such, we prefer to not ship out products on Thursdays and Fridays since the transit time changes from 2days to 4days. Is there a way we can specify that we are unable to ship on Thursdays and Fridays, so all orders placed those days will be shipped out Monday.
I understand that I could add a 2-day handling time which could account for this, although this would then provide inaccurate arrival times for orders placed on any other day. Do you have any solutions to this?

- Adjusting Cut-Off Times: You can use Amazon's Shipping Region Automation feature in your shipping template to set different order cut-off times for each day of the week. This way, you can set earlier cut-off times for Thursday and Friday, helping to ensure that orders are prepared for Monday shipping without affecting the expected delivery times for other days. - Handling Time Exceptions: For perishable SKUs, you could request a handling time exception. This would allow you to specify handling times that reflect the unique needs of temperature-sensitive items.
