Error 5461 when using Inventory Loader feed
My Amazon inventory is kept in synch with my own website via Inventory Loader feeds
However, on some products I have started to get this error:
You may not create new ASINs for this brand. You are free to add offers to any existing ASIN for this brand. Please review our ASIN Creation Policy here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/201844590. If you believe the product you want to sell is not already listed in the Amazon catalog and should be listed as a new ASIN, contact Seller Support at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/hz/contact-us and mention error code 5461
The error makes no sense.
I am not creating a new ASIN.
The product is already in my Amazon Inventory (so technically I am not even adding a new offer).
All I am doing is updating the Stock Quantity (and sometimes Price) for a particular product.
The Quantity/Price is updated correctly and I am still getting sales of the product - but the error is just disconcerting as I should not be getting it.
It is only happening on certain products - but when I get it once it consistently happens for that product when I try to update Quantity/Price via the feed.

Well Ive heard back from Support. They have asked for EAN and a picture of the product showing Brand and EAN
Considering that the issue is now affecting 25 of my products this is a bit ridiculous.
- All of the items are already in the Amazon Catalogue so EAN, Picture, Brand, Title, Category etc are already set. I do not want to change this information
- The items have been in my Amazon Inventory for years
- I am using the Inventory Loader file to update Quantity and/or Price only
- The issue has only fairly recently started to occur - but over time it has started to effect more of my products.

I had this problem too, when I list a new product, there will be error with 5461. don’t know how to solve.

Ive had the same issues. Got transferred to the tech team. They couldn’t work out why and closed the case but I am still having the same issues with adding my own and other products with the same error code.
