Combined Shipping Question (buyer makes multiple orders)

Hello.

I remember reading that you're not allowed to ship items together if they bought them separately. This seems crazy because we just sold about 20 small items to the same buyer, but a few orders are separate, so we'd be saving a lot of money by sending as 1 shipment, but we're having to send separately - does anyone know if this is still a requirement?

If I separated them, I presume as the tracking would be the same, it would be going against their rules or possibly affect VTR.

This has often been mentioned but nobody has ever supplied any links to such policy. It's probably something that someone mentioned in years gone by then it was repeated a few times and it became "fact".

We ALWAYS combine orders. Never an issue. Just enter the same tracking code into each order.

Hi Joe_Shelvey,

If you're charging the Customer the Shipping Cost for each order and you combine them into one shipment, you're making extra money and the customer might feel aggrieved by this, regardless of the Tracking and VTR...

Just my 2p

Ive got the same problem today and i buy shipping on Amazon and its standard RM large letter. Has anyone managed to send 2 orders together when buying shipping on Amazon that are 'untracked'.
