Hi, has anyone experienced a sudden sales drop? And everything in my listing is working fine with no errors. I havn't had any sales in the last three days. I was doing well in the past month. I am selling paper bags with handles. Is anyone selling the same as me, or in the same category?

It's been good weather, mothers' day and a double bank holiday rolled into the last few weeks - so need to contextualise it really. We've been slow since the bank holiday, but that's to be expected in our industry (B2B mostly). There are macroeconomic factors at play too, i think May will tell more of a story.

yes I have and it’s a massive drop in sales. To the point I even contacted seller support to see if there was anything wrong with my account that I wasn’t aware of. I am going for days without sales and have no clue why. I did try some advertising a few weeks ago and then stopped it as I don’t really know what I’m doing and didn’t get orders from it. And I’m wondering if that’s got anything to do with it. Really concerned something is wrong. And on top of that it’s so frustrating.

Yes massive drop. Very concerned as the impressions are massively up but sales down. Not sure what that means? Its like people are unable to buy? Even checked to see if we had the buybox and we have and featured offer is showing 99%!!!

Huge drop for us also, across all platforms.
eBay is picking up again for us and so are a few of our remaining FBA listing, but FBM is bottomed out compared with usual.
Very depressing.

Yes across all platforms. From £700 to £1000 a day down to £100-£200. A bit worrying.

Apparently record numbers of people have gone on a break for easter however we are down approx 50% on ebay and massively down on amazon. So I doubt its just people being away although that won't help. They are prioritising spending i.e. on holidays and bills. If we arent in recession I'd be very surprised. Intertesting what May is like but May is always quiet for us so not holding out much hope.

Yep - we make scented candles. From Feb/March/April, down 35%, 40% and now 50% in sales. Our impressions have also gone down significantly too compared to last year... it's tough out there.

Always goes quiet in Easter school hols. Last year it fell in March so if you are comparing like for like it will look more shocking. Also, this holiday not all schools closed for the same 2 week window. So its been like a 3 week whammy of reduced sales. If you sell paper bags, presumably these get used for party bags ETC? Your client base is possibly busy elsewhere....

Yes same here. February is supposed to be worst month for Q1 and had more sales in FEB than in April this month. I'd assume the recession and economy isn't doping great and people don't have as much disposable cash.
