Out of stock vs Close listing
Hi,
We are fairly new to Amazon and are looking for some advice regards to whether it is better to close a listing if you are going to be out of stock for a few weeks or is it better to leave the listing as it is. We have run out of stock today and our new stock is currently on its way and will be here in approximately 2 weeks. We want to limit the damage to our product listing and don’t know which is the better of the two options.

Its easier just to set the quantity to zero that way when your stock arrives you just have to change the quantity

We are FBA. We don’t want to delete the listing just make it inactive if that is the better thing to do than stay out of stock.

You can set the ‘start date’ in the future. It willl then automatically reappear at whatever date you enter there (that works for FBM, anyway).
