No house number or name
Buyer ordered some time ago but asked where it was this week , I asked for there address to be confirmed and they sent me a longer version of what they had provided on the order , on the order they was no street name or house number or name , the most defining bit of the address I revived was a postcode , I have looking at this postcode online and it’s valid for over 200 homes the tracking shows it’s delivered but doesn’t say where and the buyer is threatening to report to amazon if I don’t refund them as there saying it’s my responsibility to make sure there address is right
What should I do

Assuming this is not a delivery to Ireland as I gather their address system is somewhat “odd” then your defence,if you want to call it that, is simply that you are obligated by Amazon to deliver only to the address shown on the order details and are not allowed to dispatch to anything other than that.
Advise the buyer that it is their responsibility to input their address correctly as you have no way of verifying each and every address prior to dispatch.
If and when they open an A-Z claim then you would respond with the tracking details confirming delivery to the address specified, and the date of that delivery.
Amazon should then fund any refund themselves.

As you say the order was made some time ago it is likely that the full address was originally there,but now amazon have partially hidden it,as they do this with all orders after a certain length of time,apparently for buyers privacy,
therefore you have probably addressed it fully and correctly with a street name and house number when you actually sent it,
if you check other orders made around the same time you will see they only display a town and postcode now too

I have recently began taking a quick snap once an item is packed and labelled.
I can then check back as to exactly where it was posted to if necessary,then delete it once appropriate

Just check and tracking matches the address to what they provided but they and now reporting me to trading standeds and amazon , Hopefully amazon comer me on this but not felling very hopeful have even emailed them the proof of posting with there address and tracking on
